The library's collection is indexed and organized via classification schedule, with subject areas that are in case of HZI Library structured in main and sub classes. The terms and classes used in the classification schedule are also used as keywords in the catalog of the HZI library. For example, a search query with the keyword "transformed cells"/ "transformierte Zellen" will bring on display all records that have this term as first or further keyword

If you want to perform a search query via basic data e.g. author, title you can use the simple search

For performing a more detailed search query e.g. limited to specific year of publication please use the Advanced Search respectively Katalog-Recherche

for eJournals the integrated EZB/ Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek (general information regarding journals you will find here)
